The Ultimate University Checklist

Moving to university is stressful for everyone: first years, those returning and parents. Regardless whether you’re a first year or final year student, everyone needs a helping hand to not forget to take certain things to university, especially when on a budget.

Packing for university can be a chore, especially if you haven’t lived away from home before. The last thing you want to do is be on your way to move in and realise you’ve forgotten your passport or a toy of childhood value. If you do forget something, it’s not always the end of the world, but this list will help you eliminate those cases.

Firstly, check before you pack. Check what your halls/ flats provide. Most provide the essentials, such as toasters, kettles, microwaves etc. but you may need to bring your own extras, such as coffee makers, mini fridges (if allowed) and printers.

But don’t leave yourself in sticky situations where you cant get a bus home because you have no change, bus drivers are fussy with giving change from a £20 note.

Which university do you go to, and what do you study?
